Ready set…go?

07-03-2026

Finally after months of thinking about it1, I decided to launch my personal website. At the moment it just features a simple blog, built with Astro (SSG). I didn’t bother writing an about page as I’m still uncertain about what to write.

Content

The content I am planning to post might be varied. It should range from tech to day-to-day life. However I will make sure no AI-slop enters this website.

My current guess is that most of the content will be quite short. Anyways, things that might be featured here are:

The language I will be writing in will be mainly English (likely with mistakes). I do not plan to i18n my website.

About the style

The layout of this blog is heavily inspired by Mitchell Hashimoto’s personal website. It is so simple, yet so stunning and really comfortable to read.

Other than that I don’t want to spend too much time styling my website. Most is just Tailwind’s base styles with “neutral” colors. Minimalism is the key here, I will be focusing on the content, not the eye-candy.

PS: Possible issues with mobile styling, I will handle with time.

Planned features

How I want to manage this website is: no premature features. I have some ideas that could turn out nice. However for now I won’t bother with them.

What could end up being added is:

Footnotes

  1. This actually dates even longer. Back to when I wanted a YouTube channel where I explore programming concepts.

  2. I do indeed like to rant.

  3. I moved to Poland about 11 months ago. I am still learning a lot about its culture.

  4. If anyone will ever read this blog.
